RÉSUMÉ

Nous rapportons un cas d'intoxication volontaire par un rodenticide contenant une solution concentrée de Chlorophacinone, anticougulant dérivé de l'indanedione. Les données cliniques confirment, d'une part, l'effet hypocoagulant objectivé par la baisse sévère du taux de prothrombine, et, d'autre part, la durée d'action prolongée de cette substance expliquée par sa demi-vie plasmatique.
Ce travail confirme la nécessité d'une surveillance répétée du bilan de coagulation et d'un traitement par vitamine K adapté en fonction des résultats biologiques

SUMMARY

We report a case of self poisoning by a rodenticide containing a concentrated solution of Chlorophacinone, an indanedione anticoagulant dérivative. Clinical data confirm on one hand, the hypocoagulant effect, shown by the severe drop of the prothrombine time, and on the other hand, the prolonged action of this substance explained by its plasma half-life.This work confirms the necessity of a continuous observation of coagulation parameters and of a vitamin Kl treatment, adaptated following the biological data.
